Wie alles anfing (Februar 09)

Eine meiner ersten Aufgaben bei meinem Praktikum im Kulturreferat bestand daraus, u.a. abzutippen, dass am 24.07.09 Farin Urlaub mit seinem Racing Team auf der Esslinger Burg gastiert.
Diese Info wurde natürlich schnell an meinen Freund (großer Farin Fan) weitergegeben, der sich sofort Karten für seine Schwester, einen Freund und sich selbst kaufte. Ich selber hatte bis dahin noch nicht soviel von FURT gehört und hatte nicht vor mit auf das Konzert zu gehen.

3 Monate später:
“Er ist wieder da. Farin Urlaub und sein Racing- Team rocken die Burg in Esslingen. Jetzt Karten bei DasDing gewinnnen!” Nachdem ich diese Ansage unendliche Male gehört hatte, dachte ich mir, dass es ja nicht schaden kann, mal mitzumachen. Wäre ja doch ganz nett, mit meinem Freund dahin zu gehen.
Ich registrierte mich also brav in der Community und beantwortete in der Gruppe “Ich will Urlaub auf der Burg” die Frage, woher der Name der Tour “Krachgarten” kam (Antwort: So heißt eine Autobahnraststätte).
Da 90 andere User die gleiche Antwort hatten machte ich mir nicht all zu viel Hoffnung.
Doch anscheinend hab ich ein Händchen für Gewinnspiele: Ich gewann 2 Karten für das Konzert. Und wurde zudem am nächsten Tag noch zum Liebling des Tages von DasDing gewählt.

18:00 Uhr
Nach einem Bier im Garten konnte es losgehen. Wir begaben uns auf den Weg zur Burg, wo uns schon eine sehr lange Schlange von Fans erwartete. Nachdem wir diese passiert hatten, sicherten wir uns schnell einen guten Platz vor der Bühne und genossen die restliche Zeit bis zu Beginn des Konzertes mit einigen Erfrischungen in FURT-Bechern (Aufschrift: “Die Wahrheit übers Trinken”).

19:30
Pünktlichst ging der Vorhang auf und da stand er: braungebrannt und blondgefärbt: Jan Ulrich Max Vetter alias Farin Urlaub.
Er legte los mit “Unscharf” und da ich die letzten Wochen fleißig sämtliche Alben hoch und runter gehört hatte und zumindest von dem neuesten die Texte mehr oder weniger beherrschte, konnte ich gleich von Anfang an mitgrölen
Und es wurde immer besser. Zwei Stunden lang gab FURT 32 Lieder zum Besten und teilweise wurden die Texte sogar auf schwäbisch wiedergegeben.

Ich war bis jetzt ja noch nicht auf so vielen Konzerten, aber das war mit Abstand das Beste. Von Publikumsbeteiligung (Alle Dasselbe) bis Trommelspiel (Insel) und Tanzeinlagen vom Publikum (I.F.D.G) war alles dabei. Jedes Lied war total mitreißend und man wollte einfach nur tanzen und mitsingen.
Super Band, tolle Location, geiles Wetter und einfach eine Wahnsinnsstimmung!

But at the moment I’ve got to deal with the following themes:

- Public Relations in cultural fields

- Financial administration II

- Management Processes I

-  Management Processes II

When I’m ready with these themes I’ll continue with the last two parts about the dutch capital.

After a very short night in the designer apartment the four girls made themselves ready fpr the big city.

Short summary of the day:

- red- light- district (because where else would you go in Amsterdam)

- sun deck on the NEMO

- shopping….

After they disclosed the secret of the strippencard (without any help of the tourist information but with two police officers) they could go back to the apartment to pick up their luggage. Then back to the station; there was a really excited woman from DFDS who asked the girls to get on the bus, IMMEDIATLEY!

One hour later:

Exploring the ship. At the end the girls stayed at the sundeck where the “band of the century” played their songs.Especially the lead singer seemed to have a lot of fun with dancing around.  What was the name of the band again? Engery or Ecstasy?

In the evening:

Who are the most beautiful girls at dinner? Who could that possibly be? But to be honest; it wasn’t too hard for the girls to look good between a bunch of people wearing t-shirts and shorts.

The four beautys spent the rest of the evening in the columbus bar where again played the “fabulous” band. After a cocktail, Sex on the beach, which was supposed to be alcoholic, they left to the sports bar.There they could explore a new human species: The sleeping dancer…

13:10 I’m on my way to the bus stop.

13:21 The bus which should’ve been here by now hasn’t arrived yet.

13:22 The bus hasn’t arrived yet.

13:23 The bus hasn’t arrived yet.

13:24 The bus is still nowhere to be seen.

13:25 The bus arrives. It’s crowded. With a bunch of pupils.

The reason of the freaking bus being late: These stu..little kids pressed the stop button about a hundred times even though nobody wanted to get out.

13:26 My friend Hannah gets on the bus. I’m trying to tell her that it would be better if we got off two stops before the train station. But there are 20 people between us.

13:27 We get off and start running. Both of us are carrying a suitcase, a purse and a sleeping bag.

13:30 We’re exhausted. 4 minutes left.

13:32 We arrive at the station and get on the train.

We made it. Let’s go!
